I visited there with my son and his cousins in the summer and they loved it. Now that he is 6 I will look at letting him go there next half-term.

Thanks for this piece Nick – gives a nice flavour of why adventure playgrounds are such a valued resource for children and families in Hackney. Love the story about the self-built swimming pool!

I had the pleasure of visiting Hackney Marsh adventure playground last week to conduct a survey of children and families who use the playground.

Everyone that we spoke to told us how much they value the playground. If your children are between the ages of 6 and 15, I can highly recommend a visit!

I am so proud of our Hackney young people. Well done and congratulations. I wish you all the best in your chosen careers. You have all worked hard and deserve all of the praise which will be heaped on you. This just goes to show that Hackney has lots bright young people.

Rashmika has been an amazing tutor at Young and Talented- really sharing her talents with the next generation of stars from Bethnal Green. As an organisation it is so good to employ such positive role models and spotlight the success of today’s youth.
